Senior Life Insurance Migration Business Analyst

Tasks and responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst in life insurance, you contribute to the migration of individual life insurance policies and to related commercial change initiatives. You work in a multidisciplinary environment focused on individual and collective life insurance, alongside actuaries, business analysts and testers.

• Analysis
• Analyse differences between the source and target systems in the context of individual life insurance policy migration.
• Define business requirements and document them according to agreed quality standards.
• Assess the process impact of the migration of individual life insurance policies.
• Ensure a clear mutual understanding between business and IT teams.
• Testing
• Prepare and execute process and calculation tests.
• Support the validation of results and follow up on findings where needed.
• Monitoring and coordination
• Act as a key link between business and IT stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on the progress of your activities.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across IT, Operations, Business and Distribution.
• Build strong and trust-based working relationships with the relevant stakeholders involved.

Your profile

Experience as: Senior Business Analyst

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong expertise in individual life insurance products and processes.
• Knowledge of life insurance migration projects.
• Strong understanding of traditional life insurance products.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Familiarity with at least one standard business or process analysis methodology.
• Testing and validation skills, including process and calculation testing.

• Autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Structured, organized and pragmatic, with good priority management.
• Committed to quality and deadlines, with a flexible can-do attitude.
• Strong adaptability and learning capacity.
• Detail-oriented, while able to work at the right level of abstraction depending on the context.
• Effective communication with different audiences, including actuaries, IT specialists and management.
• Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
• Client- and results-oriented.

• University degree in mathematics, or equivalent experience.

• French: proficient
• English: proficient
• Dutch: a plus
