About the Role
We are looking for a Medior Application Manager to join a Service & Application Management team responsible for maintaining and improving business-critical applications.
This role focuses on application lifecycle management, IT service management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This is not a Project Manager position. Candidates must have hands-on experience performing Incident, Change, Problem, or Capacity Management responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day application management activities.
- Ensure stable and reliable application services.
- Maintain agreed IT service levels (SLAs).
- Support application lifecycle management.
- Evaluate, maintain, and migrate applications.
- Develop and recommend application migration/conversion strategies.
- Support change and transition processes.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Manage technical and service relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Implement ITIL best practices, including:
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Configuration Management
- Perform technical analysis using SQL, APIs, and scripting.
- Contribute to continuous service improvements.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Application Manager.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in one or more of the following operational roles:
- Incident Manager
- Change Manager
- Problem Manager
- Capacity Manager
- Experience evaluating, maintaining, and migrating applications.
- Experience creating application conversion or migration strategies.
- Knowledge of:
- API technologies
- SQL queries
- Scripting
- Strong knowledge of ITIL.
- Native-level Dutch (CEFR C2) is mandatory.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
- Experience with development and testing environments.
- Experience solving complex technical problems.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of ITIL processes including Configuration and Change Management.
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Experience with:
- OpenShift
- Grafana
- Kibana
- DBeaver
- ITIL certification.

This is an Application Management position focused on operational service management.
Project Managers will not be considered. Candidates must have practical experience performing Incident, Change, Problem, or Capacity Management responsibilities.
