About the role:

What you’ll do:
From the central purchasing department, you actively support purchases for various construction sites. This can range from materials to services. In addition, you are responsible for the complete management of overarching suppliers: from sourcing and contracting to communication, implementation and evaluation.
Your main duties and responsibilities:
- Study multiple and important procurement files.
- Correctly and purposefully send out competitions.
- Follow up and analyze the offers.
- Construction and negotiation of framework contracts
- Preparation of clear price comparison tables in view of best cost/benefit analysis and covered risk.
- Justifying the choice of a Supplier/Subcontractor.
- Meticulous preparation and follow-up of contracts.
- Ensure implementation and evaluation
- Closely monitor and apply existing procurement processes.
- You have relevant work experience within this area. You have strong communication skills, are an initiator and enjoy working in a team. You are stress resistant, problem solving and efficient.
- Besides working accurately, analytically and result-oriented, you have sufficient market knowledge and appropriate negotiation skills.
- You are well versed in commercial, technical and contractual negotiations.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English and can express yourself fluently in French.
- You are employed at the head office in Hofstade Aalst and report to the Procurement Manager Construction Projects.
