Senior Accountant - intern option fixed

Do you have experience in accounting and managing a team? Does the world of aviation sounds appealing to you? Then you are the person we are looking for. Our client, a big player in aviation, is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Your tasks:

• Management of a significant part of the accounts: bookkeeping from A to Z, including daily entries, monthly and annual closings.
• Financial reporting: production of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, notes) in compliance with Belgian (BEGAAP) and international accounting standards.
• VAT & Tax: very good knowledge of the management of VAT returns for several Group entities, assistance with the preparation of ISOC returns, monitoring of current tax issues.
• Financial analysis: monitoring and justification of accounts.
• Internal control: implementation and monitoring of accounting and internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
• Fixed asset management: monitoring assets, depreciation and revaluations.
• Audit support: answering auditors' questions.
• Management and monitoring of orders in progress.

Wat wij van jou vragen:

• at least 5 years of experience in general accounting
• very good knowledge of SAP
• Belgian accounting standards (BEGAAP), as well as Belgian tax rules
• good knowlegde of French and English
