FUNCTIEOMSCHRIJVING

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Automatic Distribution Center in Ninove.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the material handling installations and keeping installation downtime to a minimum.

You will work in a large team, sharing responsibility for the continuous improvement of the operations in a KPI-installation..

Responsibilities:

Ensure the availability of the material handling installations
Keep installation downtime to a minimum
Implement an action plan with colleagues to ensure proper functioning of the installation
Solve electrical and mechanical issues according to Dematic standard
Use PC, software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
Read and interpret electrical and/or mechanical drawings
Use special tools for troubleshooting
Perform technical cleaning
Store removed products on designated places
Guide technical operators
Work according to safety regulations

PROFIEL

Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with PC and software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
Ability to work in a team
Good communication skills, on the workfloor we communicate in Dutch OR English.
Attention to detail
Commitment to safety regulations
Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in maintenance of material handling installations
