We are looking for a flexible, curious, and analytical Procurement Officer to reinforce our client's Procurement Marketing & Selling EU team to support a period of significant growth and transformation.
Whether you are a junior professional (2–3 years of experience) or a more seasoned expert, your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is key. You will support a major 360° vendor review program and contribute to category strategies across multiple European markets.Joining a non-hierarchical, dynamic team, you will collaborate with Legal, Finance, and our Center of Procurement Excellence to drive value in therapeutic areas such as immunology and rare diseases.

- key responsibilities
Your activities will evolve alongside the project's needs, ensuring a diverse and challenging daily routine. Your core mission includes:
- Sourcing Excellence: Leading RFI/RFQ activities, evaluating proposals, and executing category strategies.
- Vendor Management: Supporting the 360° vendor review program to optimize our supplier landscape and strengthen relationships.
- Data & Performance: Preparing spend analyses and price comparisons to support high-level negotiations and Finance tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Legal for contract drafting and with internal stakeholders (Therapeutic Areas) to gather requirements and ensure compliance.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Contributing to sustainability assessments and ensuring green criteria are embedded in our sourcing DNA.
- Operational Support: Ensuring excellence in processes, tools, and dashboards to maintain a high standard of procurement involvement.
- qualifications
The "Essentials":
- Experience: Solid background in (in)direct procurement, ideally within Marketing & Sales categories.
- Negotiation Power: Proven track record in negotiating commercial terms and managing complex contracting processes.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with procurement tools and the ability to translate spend and performance data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to manage stakeholders across different cultures and functions.
- Mindset: A collaborative, "can-do" attitude and the agility to adapt to a non-hierarchical, rapidly changing environment.
The "Nice-to-Haves":
- Experience within the Pharmaceutical industry or working with marketing/communication agencies.
- Familiarity with Sustainability frameworks and embedding ESG criteria into sourcing.
- Knowledge of broader European supplier markets and additional languages.
