Lendelede - line supervisor – two-shift system or night shift

For a structured and well-organized meat processing company, we are recruiting a line supervisor in Lendelede, West Flanders. The company specializes in poultry products and operates both in domestic and international markets, including Belgium, the Netherlands, France, the UK, and the Middle East.
It holds a halal certification, which is a key advantage for its export activities.
The line supervisor will be responsible for overseeing an entire production line and managing a team of three to five employees. The primary focus is ensuring the achievement of set targets while maintaining a collaborative team environment. The supervisor will also actively participate in production tasks.Ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations is a key responsibility.
Salary: €17.25 per hour + shift allowance + meal vouchers: €8/day- key responsibilities
- Oversee a production line and lead a team of 3 to 5 employees.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining a structured workflow.
- Actively participate in production tasks alongside the team.
- Enforce safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in machine operations and industrial cleaning as required (3 days operating machinery, 2 days performing industrial cleaning).
Option for fixed night shift: (9PM - 5AM)
This is a temporary contract with the possibility of a permanent position based on performance and evaluation.- qualifications
- Experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team; prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of responsibility.
- Strong focus on order, cleanliness, and hygiene.
