About the Role:
As part of a small international HR team, and reporting to the HR Director based in London, the HR Advisor will provide professional, proactive, and comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle for EMEA employees, with a particular focus on the Belgium office.This role will act as a key point of contact for employees and managers, supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an HR generalist or advisory role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and best practices, ideally across multiple European countries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (particularly Dutch) are a plus.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes
- Discreet and professional when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a genuine interest in supporting people and HR development.

Responsibilities:
HR Advisory & Support:
- Provide first-line HR support and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices across EMEA.
- Advise on employee relations issues such as absence management, performance concerns, and probation reviews, escalating to the HR Director as appropriate.
- Collaborate with the EMEA Recruiter on recruitment activities across the region, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating interviews, and managing the onboarding process
- Coordinate and advise on employee benefits, including registrations (medical, cycle to work, gym, lunch vouchers) and liaise with providers where needed.
- Draft and review employment contracts, offer letters, and other employment-related documentation.
- Assist in developing and delivering training and development initiatives across the region.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local legislation.
- Support key HR processes such as appraisals, probation reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
Belgium Office Support:
- Act as a local HR contact for the Belgium office, supporting employees and liaising with the HR Director and Operations Director as needed.
- Assist with local office management, including liaising with service providers (cleaning, repairs), overseeing facilities, and ordering office supplies.
- Liaising with employees regarding their car leases and administer the process and Policies including all aspects such as winter/summer tires, fines, insurances etc.
