Preparation Zone Operator

Are you technically skilled and passionate about food production? Are you looking for a varied role where you can work independently? We are urgently seeking a motivated Preparation Zone Operator to join our team!

What will you do?

As a Preparation Zone Operator, you play a vital role in the production process. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating and setting up two machines that add nitrites to the meat.
• Preparing meat mixtures, including adding sauces and other ingredients.
• Working in a cold environment (slightly colder than refrigerator temperature, with a 5% cold premium).
• Performing manual tasks, including cleaning workstations between production runs.
• Following a structured system to ensure smooth production processes.

This is a dynamic and varied job: you think critically, monitor the process, and work with raw meat in a moist environment.

• You speak Dutch, French, or English.
• You can work independently and have a strong logical mindset (able to apply the rule of three).
• You don’t mind physical work.
• You are detail-oriented and work with precision.
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in the food sector, is a plus.
• You’re willing to work in a two-shift system (early shift: 5 AM - 1 PM, late shift: 1 PM - 9 PM).
