Our client, located in Leuven, provides sustainable solutions for water and wastewater treatment, as well as other services such as waste management and energy efficiency, to support a greener future. They are looking for a temporary lab technician to support the team.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform sample preparation (dilution and aliquoting) for analytical testing, including Ion and Liquid Chromatography, and Total Organic Carbon analysis.
• Perform liquid-liquid extraction and analyze extracts using FTIR.
• Assist with daily lab activities, such as discarding solutions and operating the lab glassware washer.

• You are a 3rd Bachelor or Master student in (analytical) chemistry or a related field? A first experience in an analytical laboratory is required
• You are available to work 2 or 3 days/week until the end of November
• You have experience with the use of automatic pipettes and proficiency in calculating dilutions
• You have the ability to work with high accuracy and efficiency
