Senior Technical Analyst / Full-Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Analyst / Full-Stack Developer to join a Business Intelligence and integration team supporting a large-scale digital transformation program within the public sector. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining critical data exchange services ("fluxes") between government systems, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and refine requirements with business stakeholders and external partners.
Design, develop, test, and maintain integration services and data exchange flows.
Translate functional and architectural requirements into technical designs and software solutions.
Develop and integrate REST-based services within an existing enterprise platform.
Implement automated testing and ensure software quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver working software in iterative sprints.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding planning, scope, and integration requirements.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Experience

Extensive experience as both Technical Analyst and Software Developer.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Git, Jenkins, Maven, and OpenAPI.
Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Proven experience developing and maintaining integration flows within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of software architecture, testing, and Agile delivery practices.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with large-scale public sector or social security systems
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot

English: Professional proficiency

Work Environment

Hybrid working model.
Minimum one day per week on-site in Brussels.
Long-term assignment through December 2026.
