Junior Business Controller

What will you be doing?:

As a Junior Business Controller you will support the team with practical, high-impact tasks and gradually take on more responsibility:

• Collect, validate and maintain performance data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Help prepare budgets, support variance analyses and contribute to short- and medium-term forecasts.
• Monitor KPI’s and produce clear, concise reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Assist in month-end closing tasks and basic financial reconciliations.
• Propose simple process improvements to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to your manager and, over time, to wider stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior controllers who will coach and mentor you throughout your development.

What do you bring to the table?:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar.
• Up to 2 years’ relevant experience (internships, traineeships or first job experience all count).
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools is a plus.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and/or French + English knowledge.
• Curious, pragmatic and organized — you enjoy turning numbers into clear actions.
• Rigorous attention to detail and a desire to learn (you don’t need to know everything yet).
• Proactive and autonomous mindset: you spot opportunities to improve processes and like to get things done.
