What will you be doing?:
As a Senior Consultant in our Grant Assurance Services team, you'll work with NGOs, universities, research institutions, public sector organisations, international organisations and companies managing European and government-funded projects.
You'll lead Grant Assurance engagements from planning to reporting, while acting as the trusted point of contact for clients. Together with partners and managers, you'll contribute to the further growth of a specialised service line and support the development of junior colleagues.
Grant Assurance Services is all about bringing transparency and trust to grant-funded projects. You'll verify that funding has been used in line with donor requirements and project objectives while helping organisations demonstrate accountability towards funding bodies.
A typical week could look like this:
- Leading Grant Assurance engagements for national and international funding programmes.
- Planning, coordinating and performing audit and verification procedures in accordance with donor requirements and agreed methodologies.
- Reviewing working papers and deliverables prepared by junior consultants while providing constructive coaching and feedback.
- Managing engagement budgets, timelines and project planning to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Acting as the main day-to-day contact for clients and coordinating requests for documentation and information.
- Drafting clear reports and communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
- Supporting proposal preparation, tender responses and initiatives that contribute to the further growth of the Grant Assurance Services practice.
- Sharing knowledge within the team and helping to further develop methodologies, templates and best practices.

What do you bring to the table?:
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building client relationships and coaching others while developing expertise in a specialised field.- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field.
- You have 3 to 6 years of experience in audit, assurance, consulting, grant management or donor-funded projects.
- Experience with EU-funded programmes, NGOs, public sector organisations or international institutions is considered a strong asset.
- You combine a strong analytical mindset with excellent project management skills.
- You communicate confidently with clients and know how to build long-term relationships.
- You enjoy coaching junior colleagues and sharing your knowledge.
- You are fluent in English and additionally speak either Dutch or French.
