GXO Logistics Antwerp | Student Front Desk Assistant –

Job Description

For our client GXO Logistics in Antwerp, we are looking for a flexible student to provide occasional support at the front desk during the absence (leave or illness) of the regular receptionist. You will work in a dynamic logistics environment and serve as the first point of contact for drivers and internal staff.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting truck drivers
• Communicating with the warehouse team
• Registering truck arrivals and departures
• Printing and checking transport documents (e.g. CMR, packing lists)
• Performing basic administrative tasks in Excel

Working hours: 07:00 – 15:06

Schedule: Occasional weekdays, mainly Thursdays and Fridays, both during and outside school holidays

Profiel

• You are a student and flexibly available on short notice
• You have a good command of Dutch and English
• You are communicative, customer-oriented, and detail-focused
• You can work independently and remain calm under pressure
• You have basic knowledge of Excel

Training:

• You are available for 2 training days in the next 2 weeks
• First working day: July 14, 2025

Required availability to cover leave:

• July 31 – August 1
• August 4 – August 8
