Responsibilities:
The Role
As a Stockroom Assistant, you are the backbone of our store operations. You ensure that the flow of goods from delivery to the shop floor is seamless, organized, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery Management: Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Inventory Control: Check deliveries against invoices for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Stock Organization: Maintain a clean, tidy, and logical stockroom layout to ensure quick access for the sales team.
- Product Preparation: Sensor, tag, and steam items (if applicable) according to brand standards.
- Replenishment: Monitor stock levels on the floor and replenish items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Highly Organized: You have a "neat freak" mentality and love keeping things in order.
- Physically Fit: You are comfortable being on your feet all day and handling heavy boxes/deliveries.
- Detail-Oriented: You notice the small things, from a wrong barcode to a minor product flaw.
- Proactive: You don’t wait for instructions; you see what needs to be done and take action.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and remain active throughout the shift.
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail.
- Basic computer literacy (familiarity with scanners is a plus).
- Fluent in English/Dutch to ensure smooth communication with the team.
