Job description - IT process manager (freelance / permanent)

As part of a strategic initiative focused on IT process improvement and compliance with European regulations such as DORA, we are looking for an IT Process Manager

This is a new position built from scratch, as these responsibilities are currently distributed across multiple teams.

Mission

You will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving IT processes, as well as implementing controls and ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.

Key responsibilities

Analyze existing IT processes

Document processes based on internal guidelines (±40 guidelines to implement)

Identify gaps between current and target state

Define and implement remediation actions

Set up and formalize internal controls

Define clear procedures (what to do, how, timelines, responsibilities)

Contribute to the creation of a large documentation framework (100+ documents)

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information

Support continuous improvement initiatives

Adapt processes during ongoing changes and transformations

Profile

Proven experience in IT process management and documentation

Strong ability to structure and formalize complex processes

Experience in regulated environments (insurance is a strong plus)

Good understanding of EU regulations, including DORA

Autonomous, structured, and detail-oriented

Strong writing and documentation skills

Bilingual FR or NL + ENGLISH

No specific tools imposed

Experience with ITSM or process/documentation tools is a plus
