Senior Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer (Hybrid – Brussels)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Release Train Engineer to support multiple strategic healthcare-related Agile teams working on long-term digital transformation programs.
The role involves coaching and guiding teams operating in Scrum and SAFe environments while ensuring effective collaboration between development teams, project managers, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support and coach multiple Agile teams across strategic programs
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and SAFe quarterly planning activities
- Ensure Agile methodologies are applied effectively and pragmatically
- Guide teams and stakeholders in maintaining Agile best practices and values
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams
- Help manage organizational and methodological complexities within hybrid Agile/PRINCE2 environments
- Promote continuous improvement and Agile maturity across teams
- Use Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery tracking and collaboration
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
- Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
- Experience working in complex enterprise or public sector environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
- Ability to work pragmatically in mixed Agile and traditional project management environments
- French: Active knowledge
- Dutch: Active knowledge
- English: Active knowledge
