We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Automatic Distribution Center in Ninove.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the material handling installations and keeping installation downtime to a minimum.
You will work in a large team, sharing responsibility for the continuous improvement of the operations in a KPI-installation..
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability of the material handling installations
- Keep installation downtime to a minimum
- Implement an action plan with colleagues to ensure proper functioning of the installation
- Solve electrical and mechanical issues according to Dematic standard
- Use PC, software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
- Read and interpret electrical and/or mechanical drawings
- Use special tools for troubleshooting
- Perform technical cleaning
- Store removed products on designated places
- Guide technical operators
- Work according to safety regulations
- Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with PC and software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills, on the workfloor we communicate in Dutch OR English.

- Commitment to safety regulations
- Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience in maintenance of material handling installations
