Technical Lab Assistant - P&G

For Procter & Gamble BIC (Brussels Innovation Center) in Strombeek, we are looking for an enthusiast Lab assistant.

What do we expect from you : Technical Assistants perform procedural work in a lab and on a computer.

In addition, they manage relevant administrative tasks.

They do not have an overall project responsibility but their work is vital for the development of foundational scientific understanding and the evaluation of new hypotheses. Technical Assistants can contribute to the digital data capturing or have to become savvy on this.

• Learn new test methods and prepare and perform them with excellence, in a dependable/quality manner.
• Have knowledge of data retrieval/analysis processes; working knowledge of computer application/software packages.
• Check accuracy of data; detects any irregularities and report these to the supervisor/technical coach.
• Perform routine work in R&D labs independent in limited aspects of job.
• Ask questions to resolve uncertainty about the task.
• Priorities are defined by their supervisor/technical coach; limited control over schedule & method of work.
• Have written and verbal communication skills necessary to convey information and report the data to

their supervisor/technical coach.

• Can organize daily work independently: meeting deadlines and changing priorities
• Can work in larger team, with different type of colleagues and levels.
• Can work with general MS Office: Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
• Analytical mind set and eye for detail
• Strong follow-up skills
• Able to flag unexpected results
• Participate in meetings to align weekly test program with supervisor

• Language skills: Fluent in English

Aanbod

• Duration : Project of +/- 5 Months up to Max. 1 Year (Weekly Contracts) --> Extension up to 1 Year (Maximum) is possible, but is not always a Guarantee from the Start!;
