Innova - Data Analyst
Department: Operational Permanent Control (OPC)

Function Description: Track 4 is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support OPC in
Upgrading the current data setup of OPC (data sourcing methods, data modeling & analysis methods and tools, collaboration with other constructs)
Developing data analytics methods that respond to current and future needs of OPC control and risk teams, in cooperation with the Data department
Delivering qualitative data sets and data analytics outputs
Contributing to the TO BE vision of data management at OPC
Mission: The role is two-fold
Strategic vision
Address diversified business problems requiring data (such as descriptive business data to support risk analysis or the setup of key risk indicators)
Support OPC teams in defining the requirements for these data (data translation)
Get to know the different data providers of the Bank, particularly the Data department, and be an active part of the implementation model(s) set up with those contributors
Data analysis tasks
Data exploration and extraction, setup of data sets
Ensure data crunching and treatment for BI purposes
Work with diverse data analytical methodologies, including statistical/Machine Learning, forecasting
Data visualization

Language requirements
Dutch or French: FluentEnglish: Fluent
Education
Master's degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, or a Business degree with proven experience in data analytics
Candidates with other academic backgrounds with substantial knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply
Certifications
SQL

Required experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics
Main requirement
The main requirement for the role of Data Analyst in Track 4 at OPC is to have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics. This includes proficiency in programming languages like SQL and Python, experience with predictive modeling (Machine Learning) for forecasting purposes, and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background in data management and management consulting, along with good communication and influencing skills to interact with various stakeholders.
Technical experience
Mandatory:
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Knowledge of interaction with Oracle DBs
Proven experience in predictive modeling (Machine Learning) for forecasting purposes
Familiarity with development tools and libraries such as Conda, GitLab, Jupyter, PyCharm
Data visualization skills (mandatory: Tableau; Power BI is a possibility)
Preferable:
Knowledge of AB Initio
Familiarity with SAS universe
Business experience
