Assistant Shift Supervisor - 2 shifts

Your Responsibilities

As the right hand of the shift supervisor, you will be the link between the floor staff and upper management.

Specifically, you will:

• Load and unload trucks using an electric pallet jack
• Support fellow warehouse workers
• Welcome, train, and guide new employees
• Assist and support the shift supervisor
• Supervise warehouse staff
• Provide backup for the shift supervisor

Wat wij van jou vragen:

• You have experience as a warehouse worker and are eager to take the next step
• You can operate an electric pallet jack and preferably have experience with a reach truck
• Cold temperatures (-22°C) are no problem for you
• You can lead a team
• You’re a team player, willing to help out during busy periods
• Experience with a reach truck? That’s a plus!
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage a team
• Strong organizational skills

Wat wij jou bieden:

• A full-time position in a 2-shift system:
• Early shift: 6 AM – 2 PM
• Late shift: 2 PM – 10 PM (until 10:15 PM on Fridays)
• Every 4 weeks: Saturday shift starting at 6:45 AM until work is completed
• A thorough training/break-in period
• A permanent contract after a successful interim period
• Progressive salary increases based on positive evaluations:
• First 3 months: €18.8294/hour (including bonuses)
• After positive evaluation: €20.9057/hour (for the remainder of the interim period)
• Upon permanent hiring: €21.8332/hour
