Global planning - supply chain product transfer coordinator
- key responsibilities
- Represents supply chain as active Core Team Member in the Transfer Project Core Team.
- Collaborates with the Local Operating Companies, Production sites, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Deliver & the Product Artwork teams to develop and execute a transfer implementation plan
- Coordinates the supply chain activities during the implementation phase.
- Leads supply meetings with both sending and receiving plant teams.
- Agrees on the transfer plan with each site, including a clear definition of the stop (last order sending site) and start (first order receiving site) dates.
- Acts as the communication lead towards affiliates and plants and keeps them informed about the project execution.
- Escalates issues in case agreed implementation timelines are at risk
- Manages stock-build planning if required, based on transfer timelines, considering customer requirements, regulatory approval timelines and plant capacity.
- Communicates effectively and periodically across the E2E Transfer Teams’ functional areas to keep management and key stakeholders informed about the status of the assigned transfer project(s).
- qualifications
Master’s degree in supply chain is preferred.
A minimum of 3 year supply chain experience is required, preferably in pharmaceutical supply chain
In depth understanding of the End to End Supply Chain and interdependencies across functions. (eg Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, Master-data) is fundamental.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills is required.
Experience with SAP ERP system is a must, familiarity with OMP is a plus
High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
Excellent influencing and communication skills, able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships without having direct authority, influence multiple stakeholders and establish common goals and objectives
Ability to function autonomously and work pro-actively with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Ability to see the big picture while keeping high level of attention to the details
