DigiTribe - Data Engineer (Financial Sector)

You will design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines while working closely with our experts and clients to deliver reliable, high impact solutions. Develop and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines Design and optimize modern data architectures (batch, streaming, cloud-based) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions efficiently Ensure data quality, availability, and security across data platforms Experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role Proficiency in Python (or Scala/Java) for data processing Hands-on experience with Azure data services (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse) Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Understanding of data modelling and data quality principles Experience or good understanding in Banking, Financial or insurance sector Fluent in English and French or Dutch Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent by experience Experience with distributed data processing tools (Spark) Familiarity with streaming technologies (Kafka or Event Hubs) Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) Understanding of data governance and best practices Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams Comprehensive social security and health benefits in Belgium Hospitalization Insurance & Group Insurance (Retirement) Opportunities for professional training and certifications Exciting assignments with clients engaged in innovative IT projects
