About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer / Application Architect to join a dynamic development team working on business-critical applications.
In this role, you will act as the technical authority, shaping the architectural direction and elevating development standards. You will balance innovation with stability while contributing hands-on to the development of robust and scalable applications.
Your Responsibilities- Define and guide architecture decisions across backend (.NET/C#) and frontend (Angular or Blazor)
- Act as a technical lead and mentor, coaching developers and promoting best practices
- Develop and maintain high-quality, business-critical applications
- Improve and optimize the software development lifecycle (tools, workflows, standards)
- Collaborate closely with analysts, testers, and project managers
- Drive adoption of modern technologies, including AI-assisted development
- Ensure clean code, performance, and scalability across solutions
Your Profile
Must-Have- Minimum 5 years' experience in application development
- Strong expertise in .NET / C#
- Solid experience with Angular (or similar frontend frameworks)
- Experience as an Application Architect or technical lead
- Proven experience in Agile development environments
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Strong hands-on experience in coding, testing, and debugging
- Dutch proficiency at CEFR level C2
- Experience with Blazor
- Knowledge of API Gateway solutions (e.g. Kong)
- Experience with OpenShift or container platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools in development (e.g. Claude)
- Experience with SQL and database design
- Experience with Bitbucket
- Proven experience in team leadership and coaching
